I love skincare and want to protect my face, but I don't want to damage the environment. 🌏
The beauty industry is known for being bad for the environment because it generates around 120 billion units of packaging every year. 📦
I found this to be discouraging.
I decided to research brands and find one that was truly environmentally friendly, and that's when I found Juice Beauty. 🍸
The brand is determined to make a difference.
I have tried many of their products, but today I will review the vitamin C serum. Keep reading to find out my true thoughts on the brand and its products.
🍸 All About Juice Beauty
Juice Beauty was founded in 2005 by a woman named Karen Behnke. Her goal was to make healthy skincare while also being sustainable. 🍃
She spent five years working with scientists, physicians, and microbiologists to create the perfect formula. 🧪
Now there are many products on their website that you can purchase. I personally like that I can get all my skincare products from one place.
They also have gift sets and products that target certain areas. For example, there are solutions for dryness, acne, wrinkles, and much more. ✨
One of Juice Beauty's popular products is its Vitamin C Serum. It's on their best-seller list for a reason. It has amazing results and the benefits are visible.
How To Use Vitamin C Serum
Knowing how to use the product correctly is crucial. If you don't use it right, you won't get the same results.
1️⃣ Cleanser and dry your face
2️⃣ Shake the product first and then apply the serum directly to your face
3️⃣ Gently rub it in
4️⃣ Avoid contact with your eyes
5️⃣ After it's dry apply your Juice Beauty moisturizer
6️⃣ Repeat these steps morning and night
Bonus: Remember to always do a patch test first. This will tell you if the product is going to irritate your skin.

Key Factors
I've tried many products and skincare serums and everything. I use a few factors to evaluate them.
This process helps me determine if I want to continue using the products or if I should move on to another brand. Below are the five key factors I'm going to use today.
🫶 Packaging
🫶 Ingredients
🫶 Consistency/Texture
🫶 Quality
🫶 Retail Price
🫶 Packaging
Juice Beauty set out to make its bottles and packaging as sustainable as possible. Some of their products are made of glass and some are plastic.
Both can be recycled at your local recycling center. They have detailed instructions on the website that tell you exactly how you can discard your empty skincare bottles.
The bottle for the Vitamin C Serum is sleek and easy to hold. It also has a pump lip which I prefer over a dropper or screw-off lid.
🫶 Ingredients
One of the first things I look at when I'm choosing my skincare is the ingredients. 🧪
Your skin will absorb whatever you put on it, so it's important that you only put healthy and safe products on your body.
Below are a few ingredients that stood out to me:
😊 Vitamin C 20% which protects the skin from damage.
😊 Aloe Leaf Juice, which hydrates and soothes the skin.
😊 Hyaluronic Acid is crucial for hydrating and making the skin glow.
🫶 Texture
How a product feels on my skin is another important factor. I've used products in the past that have been thick and hard to wash off.
However, Juice Beauty isn't like that. The serum is light and once I put it on I don't notice it.
It absorbs and dries quickly. It also doesn't have a sticky texture to it as other Vitamin C serums do.
🫶 Quality
The purpose of skin care is to help improve your appearance and make your skin healthier. That is only possible with quality products.
Juice Beauty is only made with quality ingredients which means it's great for your skin. Multiple brands claim to be organic and use quality but they don't.
I can tell a big difference in quality between Juice Beauty and other beauty brands.
🫶 Price
When I'm online or in-store looking for skincare products, I consider the price. I don't want to spend a fortune but I also understand that quality products are more expensive.
One bottle which is 0.9-ounces is $65 💸💸💸 which would typically be more than I like to pay but this product has real results so I continue to purchase it.
You can subscribe for refills and save $10 💸 which is also a great option.

Before I found Juice Beauty (I wish I had found them earlier) I used a few other brands. Below I have laid out a comparison so you can see the difference and decide for yourself.
🍋 Drunk Elephant C-Firma Fresh Day Serum – Firming and Brightening Serum for Damaged and Aging Skin
This product from Drunk Elephant smells amazing. It felt light and didn't bother my skin at all. I would say it's great for dry and sensitive skin.
It's also vegan and cruelty-free. The ingredients are safe as well.
It's more expensive than most priced at $78 💸💸 for 0.94-ounces. It didn't last as long as I expected it to.
This serum has a few extra steps than Juicy Beauty's vitamin C serum does. It takes a little more time for the product to absorb too.
🍋 dear, klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop
It is 5% Hypoallergenic and potent for skin rejuvenation. It helped lighten my acne scars and made my face brighter.
The price for this product is a little more reasonable in my opinion, priced at $23 💸💸 for 1.18oz. It's safe for dry and sensitive skin.
While I did see results, they took a while. The texture was slightly sticky but not too noticeable.
🍋 Averr Aglow Clarifying Hydration Dew
This is a daily face moisturizer with many natural vitamins. I didn't have as many breakouts once I started using this product.
It's a mist that took me a little bit of time to get used to but once I did I really loved it. It hydrated my skin without clogging my pores. The price is average at $27.55 💸💸 for 4 ounces.
I wouldn't use this product to replace a vitamin C serum. It's not packed with as many quality ingredients as Juice Beauty.
I wouldn't recommend this product to people who have sensitive skin. It's fragranced and could irritate the skin.
Final Review: Juice Beauty 🍸
Juice Beauty has been one of my favorite brands since the first time I used it. The Vitamin C
Serum is different from any other product I've tried. I love the company's mission and vision.
I like to support companies that are environmentally friendly and still provide good products. 🍃
Overall I would recommend this brand to everyone. No matter what type of skin you have there are products that are safe for you.
Why Trust Me? 💕
Juice Beauty does not sponsor me and I don't make a commission. I loved trying this product and reviewing it for you!
I've tried so many serums and it took me so long to find one that I loved. I have tried so many companies claiming to be organic and sustainable without showing any proof.
Juice Beauty is different from any other brand I've used. They back up their claims with facts and proof.
My skin has never felt better either. Now that I know about Juice Beauty and all that it can do for my skin, I don't think I'll ever switch to another brand.
