Is It Worth Buying? $169 LightStim For Acne LED Light Therapy Device Review
This year I suddenly started getting hormonal acne breakouts out of nowhere. It would happen right before my period and it was a literal nightmare for me. The area around my chin and mouth would just break out in severe cystic acne and nothing seemed to make the acne go away until the period went away. I wasn’t too keen on getting on birth-control pills like my doctor suggested, so I was looking for other possible solutions. That’s when I discovered the

💖 Why I love it?
- IT REALLY WORKS: Not only is the use of LED light therapy to fight acne supported by numerous clinical studies, but I can feel the benefits on my own skin as well. I’ve been using this light therapy device for about 3 months now (don’t mind the text in the video, I made it earlier) and I can definitely see visible changes in my complexion and overall skin health. From the very first time I used this device, I noticed that the itching sensations around the acne affected areas were completely gone. Then after using it for a couple of weeks in a row, it really started to make my acne go away. Now I don’t get acne breakouts that often when I’m supposed to get my monthly period. And even if I do get acne, it’s just a pimple or two, nothing too severe like cystic acne breakouts that I used to get.
- CONVENIENT TO USE— I love how I can use this device while I’m getting things on my daily schedule done (like answering emails for example) or just enjoying the things I love (like watching my favorite series).
💔 Cons?
Although this device is AMAZING and absolutely works for me, I would definitely agree that it is quite expensive. The $169 price tag can definitely be a reason to think twice about purchasing.
I would say that for me it was worth the money because my work requires that I always look presentable. The acne breakouts were affecting my ability to earn income, so paying $169 to get rid of my problem was absolutely worth it.
