Happy Friday! Today I’m reviewing the Insert Name Here Super Shine Serum which I received in my last Ipsy box. I’ve actually purchased INH’s fake hair ponytails before but haven’t tried any of their other hair products.
This Super Shine Serum contains 2.3 OZ of product in a pump bottle. The product itself has a sweet fruity scent and includes ingredients such as passion fruit, macadamia, sunflower, and grape seed oil. The consistency of the product is similar to a hair oil or face serum. Definitely liquid but thicker than water.
Since it says to apply on damp or dry hair I decided to wash my hair and apply 2-3 pumps per side on my damp hair with no additional products! The packaging says to use 2-3 for the whole head but I have thick hair so I decided to apply more. Here’s what I think:
Smells yummy which is my favorite part of hair products 😂
Gives hair shine and moisture
Helps my bleached hair look healthier
Pump is a little hard to get product out of
If you put too much hair can look a little greasy & take a long time to dry
At a price of $22 I would consider this product pricey but not overtly expensive. Because of this I would re-purchase as it definitely made a big improvement in my hair!
