One thing I struggle with is buying practical, basic fashion staples that I can wear all the time and recently I heard about Stitch Fix. I tend to gravitate towards clothes that are difficult to wear and pair on any given day. I find shopping for basics boring. So I decided to get an online stylist at Stitch Fix to help me out. You don't have to use them for basics, it's just what I personally struggle with.
I had no idea what to expect and quite honestly, my expectations were not that high. I gave them these specific instructions:
✨- Flattering for my body shape
✨- No light/pastel colors, creams, or greys
✨- Prefer blue, teal, dark/olive green, black
✨- Comfortable
✨- Blazer requested

☝️ Here's how it works:
1️⃣Create an account and rate some clothing collections- I passed on just about everything.
2️⃣You can then write to your stylist about what you are looking for.
3️⃣Before your collection is sent to you, you have the opportunity to review it online and approve or deny the first selection.
4️⃣I approved the green sweater and rejected the rest of the collection.
5️⃣After that, I didn't get to see what was chosen and my mystery box arrived!
🤩Here's what I got:
🎀Blazer -Skies are Blue
🎀Jeans - Just Black
🎀Tank - Market & Spruce
🎀Sweater - Love Ellie
🎀Dress - Mine Britton

❌You only get one chance to see your collection before it's sent. If you don't chose the items, the things sent to you will be a complete mystery.

📝Conclusion:
Love, love, love this collection! I was on the fence during the try on, but the more I thought about it, the more I loved it. The unboxing was so exciting! Everything came neatly folded & wrapped with a style suggestion guide full of ideas on how to wear them.
When I filled out the survey they asked for my budget and I went a bit higher because I wanted quality clothing. I was nervous they might take advantage and just send the most expensive items but this entire box cost me around $220. My stylist did a great job following my requests.
I told her about my body type and struggles to find jeans that fit. I also mentioned how I love to wear dresses and that I was looking for a blazer. She followed all the instructions, including the color choices.
They offer free returns and I nearly sent back the v neck white and blue top but then I noticed they give you 20% off your ENTIRE order if you keep all 5 items. So I actually SAVED money by keeping that piece. I thought the value and quality of this collection was great. I honestly don't really own jeans that fit me so now I finally have a pair of jeans. I'm so excited to see what I get in my winter collection! I definitely would recommend trying it out.
