Ghee is clarified butter, and used as a butter and oil substitute. Possibilities are endless, put it on your toast, use to cook your veggies, or add to dishes as oil substitute!

What you’ll need:
-few sticks of your favorite butter
-jar (mason jar or otherwise)
Let simmer on medium to low heat for about 30min. You will see the milk parts separating either floating on top or sinking to the bottom. Once it gets to a golden color and starts smelling like popcorn it should be done. Allow to let cool then strain into your jar with the cheesecloth and funnel. Store your ghee like oil (not in the fridge). And remember there’s no extra preservatives, so make sure no moisture gets into the jar and always use clean utensils.
