This was my first hourglass purchase. I’ve seen so much of it and have admired the blushes for a long time but they’re quite expensive. This ambient lighting edit palette came out in early September and I’ve wanted it ever since. It was $80 and wayyyy to expensive for me. A week ago I saw it on sale on Sephora’s site and had to get it. They had an extra 20% off sale items and I used some points to redeem for an extra discount. I ended up saving over 50%!
The only problem I have with this is that it’s for light to maybe light medium skin tones. They should’ve done at least 3 more, like a medium to tan, tan to dark then dark to rich skin tones. At this point in the makeup industry, brands should be inclusive to all skin tones.
It’s so beautiful, the packaging is lighter than I thought it would be. I was also shocked by the pigment. I don’t know why but I expected this to be pretty light coverage but boy was I wrong. Its pigmented enough for my skin tone. I definitely want to use this a lot, the blushes are so pretty and I like that the highlighter isn’t too sparkly.
The top 3 powders obviously don’t have that much pigment since they’re finishing powders and 1 highlighter.
This palette includes 6 powders:
Top to bottom
1. Finishing powder in dim light
2. Finishing powder in diffused light
3. Strobe powder in glistening strobe light
4. Bronzer in natural bronze light
5. Strobe blush in vibrant flush
6. Blush in mood exposure
I’ve been using this for a few days now and I really like it.
Yay to sales! #Beauty #powder #blush #Highlighter #bronzer
