Our short stay in Boston has neatly come to an end, and we feel that the design of the hotel lobby left a good impression on us. So we took a short video to share it with you guys! ✨🙌
I myself used to work in a hotel for a year, and I totally get why people like to stay in hotel rooms. Indeed, hotel rooms are clean, calming and clutter-free environments that are designed for relaxation and a great night's sleep without the constant reminders of our busy everyday life.
For me, I tend to look at the lobby of a hotel as they typically have more characters - as hotel rooms are more or less the same.
My bf and I like Marriott hotels a little more when we were working full time and traveling a lot. But once in a while we stay at Hilton hotels too, and they are in general good and on the fancier/luxe side. This time in Boston, because I found a deal and the price was good, we stayed at a Hilton which had a cool “fireplace” in the lobby. I believe this design is probably inspired by the colonial homes in New England and they reimagined this central gathering space in the lobby beautifully.
I’d definitely want a cool fireplace like this when I have my own house one day. 😍
