It’s summer, and I don’t know about you but all I can seem to think about these days is sitting on the beach and staring at the gorgeous ocean. Inspired by the pretty colors of the water, I created this ocean/sea eyes look that uses two different palettes: one from ColorMates, and another from Pop Beauty.
I started with The ColorMates Flower Bouquet Palette. This isn’t as easy to find nowadays, but there are still several like it on the market. Essentially, you’ll just need to use a lighter shade of a color between green and blue, popularly known as seafoam or candy apple green, first, on the inner corner of the eye. Then, use a color that is a little closer to sour apple just beside that.
I then brought in my Pop Beauty Lightshow Eye Palette. I used a dark, sensual, glittery jade shade on just a tiny portion around the top of the eye, followed by an extremely dark teal on the outermost corner of the eye!
After the shadow was finished, I did a subtle wing that wasn’t super defined (using Clarins Crayon Kohl) to make it look more natural (after all, we are channeling one of nature’s natural beauties). Lastly, I applied just a few brushes of Clarins Supra Volume Mascara and I was good to go!
