Love a refreshing scrub in the shower, and embrace your baby soft skin? We certainly do. 🎶 It’s a great way to detox, feel pampered and to improve the circulation.
But to be honest, I haven’t spent more than $20 for a body scrub, so this Exfoliating Body Scrub For Smooth Skin is indeed the priciest body scrub I’ve used so far. 😍✨I got it in last year’s holiday at-home Spa set, which I believe they released a very similar one this year too (I’ll link it in the “gift idea” section down below).
Since both my bf and I have tried this fancy body scrub, I’ll include his opinions in this post too! ✨🙌 I’ll also include some body exfoliating tips at the end of this post, and hopefully they would be helpful to you too 💓😍

Clarins is a beauty brand that proudly carries the ‘made in France’ tagline. Launched on March 15 1954 by Jacques Courtin-Clarins, its first Clarins Institute focused on the belief that your physical well-being and happiness are linked to your beauty. Clarins came to the market at the same time as celebrities began to appear on the cover of magazines.
As I noted in my earlier posts about Clarins products, Clarins is a family business. However, what is extraordinary is that Jacques Courtin-Clarins was a medical student when he founded Clarins. He was actively involved with Clarins until his death in 2007, with his son Christian taking over as chairman of Clarins in 2000.

🌸 it’s not harsh at all with fine scrub (bamboo powder)
🌸 it has a light scent, perfect for ANYONE and gender neutral too
🌸 environmental friendly as the bamboo powder clearly doesn’t cause environmental issues micro beads would have caused
🌸 features Shea butter so it’s soothing and rich
🌸 both my bf and I thought it softened our skins
🌸 I used Clarins moisturizing lotion for my body and restorative hand cream for my hands after scrubbing and both products sank in faster than normal! 🙌❤️

🌿Scrubbing the body: tips on exfoliating🌿
1️⃣When using an exfoliator, apply the product gently using small, circular motions.
2️⃣Do this for about 30 seconds (especially if you have more sensitive skin), and then rinse off with lukewarm water. Do not use hot water.
3️⃣If you use a brush or sponge, use short light strokes. Don’t exfoliate if you have wounds or if your skin is sunburned. Save exfoliating for a “good (healthy) skin day” 💓🙌
🌸my secret “recipe” for hand care🌸
1️⃣Use a gentle body scrub once in a while (when needed, but don’t overdo it)
2️⃣ use some of your fav facial products as a special treatment for tour hands once in a while - you don’t need to invest extra hand serums. A vitamin C serum followed by a rich hand cream would work like a dream! 😍❤️🫧✨

Even though I won’t spend so much on scrubs, I def will be looking for sets that include this wonderful scrub once it runs out! It’s such a detoxing product that makes me feel relaxed and happy, and my skin feel clean and super soft!!! 🎶🌸✨ Give it a try if you are interested in trying out luxe body scrub!
