This is a craft I randomly experimented with once several years ago but I still wear so many of these halters that I’ve made from big T-Shirts! I got this particular shirt at Goodwill for $4, as I love finding a good bargain, but wherever you get your shirt just make sure it’s about 3 sizes (or more) larger than your usual size. The reason for that is so there is enough fabric to tie around your back side. If you try this on a shirt that’s too tight fitting, there won’t be enough to tie with and it will be hard to salvage once you’ve cut it. It’s best to choose a shirt that has a large, central graphic on it. Otherwise you risk cutting off the graphics of the shirt if they are located elsewhere (too low on the front side, etc.) We love a cute easy craft though, you feel me? Happy crafting!! 👚✂️
