I recently moved to a new apartment and my bedroom was definitely requiring some sort of makeover because it wasn’t giving me those cozy, warm vibes. They say light and color can transform any space, so I was thinking of painting the walls but my landlord wouldn’t allow it (😬) sooo I got the Vont Smart LED Strip Lights instead!

What I like about these lights?
💗 EASY TO INSTALL: I’m not too handy when it comes to installing things in my house but these can literally be installed by a child. So easy! I’m telling you, my 4 year old niece was helping me install them in my bedroom (and we had loads of fun doing it!)
😂 They come in this tape-like form so you just strip down the protective cover and you can easily stick them to any surface. You can cut the tape to any desired length and save the rest for later. What’s also amazing is that they really stay put, no matter where you stick them, and you can easily remove them without damaging any surfaces. I originally had them installed around my mirror and then I just moved them to my bedroom (no mirrors were harmed in the process).
💗 COUNTLESS SMART OPTIONS: These lights are quite literally smart! When you connect them to Vont Home app, you unlock an entire universe of options to play with. I can adjust these lights to match any mood and choose their color from 16 million different color hues that are available in the app. I can even sync them to change colors or flicker to the rhythm of a song that’s currently playing on my phone. And I can also customize each section to have a different color or make a gradient of one shade which is pretty cool! 😍
💗 VOICE CONTROL: This is probably my favorite feature that’s incorporated with these lights. I can connect them to my Amazon Alexa device and just tell Alexa to turn them on, sync them to music or change their color. They can also be connected to Google Assistant and IFTTT devices.
💗 SCHEDULE TIME: Another cool thing I love about these lights is that I can schedule them to turn on/ off at certain times during the day, so I don’t have to worry about the electric bill if I forget to turn them off when I accidentally doze off. 😂
💔 What I don’t like?
Although the Amazon description says these are 32.8 ft in length, they actually come in 2 separate strips which are 16.4 ft each and there is no way you can connect the two (you need to purchase a separate connector in order to do that). This was a little annoying honestly, but I still love these lights very much and I don’t regret buying them. It’s something to have in mind when purchasing though.
If you’re on a budget, you might want to try the TJOY LED Strip Lights instead of these. They are only $12.77 (for 25ft length) and they have very similar features, although you can’t connect them to Alexa or Google Assistant. 😅
💭 In conclusion, I am BEYOND satisfied with my purchase. I LOVE these so much, seriously, These lights are multifunctional and super affordable. They make any space so much better and you can even connect them to Alexa or Google assistant to turn them on/off or change their color via voice command option! I mean, how cool is that? 😍 Definitely check them out!
