This is more of a just-for-fun video than a how-to, as I’m pretty sure many of you have already been doing something similar for ages: mixing your fav lipstick 💄 with a soothing lip oil to create your unique shade of colored lip oil 🎶💓
I like to mix a little of my YSL Rouge Pur Couture The Bold High Pigment Lipstick (mine is in a woody rose color) lipstick with Clarins Lip Comfort Oil Honey for a lightly tinted pretty-but-still-natural rosy shade of lip oil. It is a truly mlbb color (or more like how my lips once were when I was a young kid 😂) and I’ve been wearing it a lot. It has the benefits of the lip oil with a hint of color, and long lasting hydration.
A trick I do though, is to avoid brushing the soft applicator of your lip oil over your lipstick, so it could stay clean. I like to use my ring finger to take a little oil directly from the wand so everything remains neat and tidy 🎶
