Butterflies are so special to me because my grandma loved them so when I saw this beautiful butterfly wallpaper I knew I had to get it for a background in some of my videos!
🦋BUTTERFLY WALLPAPER
- From the Yenhome store on Amazon
- $12.96
- 17.7 x 118 inches
- Stick and peel wallpaper
- Waterproof
- Eco friendly
- Material: back with glue vinyl contact paper
This wallpaper stood out to be first because of the beautiful butterflies on it but also because it was so easy to apply. The wallpaper is thick! The brand YenHome has many different colors and patterns if butterflies don’t fit your style.
🦋HOW TO APPLY
1. clean the surface where you’re going to apply the wallpaper with a wet towel.
2. Cut the wallpaper to the size you need. The back has lines to help you cut straight :)
3. Peel off the backing on the wallpaper
4. Place the wallpaper on the desired spot you want it to go.
5. Use a towel to smooth the wallpaper out and so there won’t be any air bubbles
6. If there are air bubbles after that, use a needle or edge of knife to get them out.
7. Enjoy the beautiful butterfly wallpaper :)
This is a super easy DIY project than you can finish in 10-15 minutes!
🦋IDEAS
- an accent wall in a room
- On drawers
- A wall to film in front of
🦋PROS
- so beautiful
- Easy to apply
- Easy to remove- won’t leave sticky residue
- Waterproof
- Budget friendly
- Easy to clean
🦋CONS
- not a lot of wallpaper on the roll. If you want to cover a whole wall you’ll need to buy 2-4 rolls. One roll is enough for a small area.
🦋COMPETITION
- Mecpar Store. They have a lot of basic but aesthetic wallpaper. The same amount of wallpaper is $6.99. A lot cheaper than Yenhome but the reviews are bad. A lot of people are saying that the wallpaper started peeling off very quickly. Remember you get what you pay for!!
- Funstick: a little more expensive but you get more wallpaper. $24.99 for 15.8 x 240 inches. They have a lot of different options. It looks beautiful and they have great reviews!!!
- Gleom: $8.89 for the same amount as the butterfly wallpaper. So it’s cheaper. The reviews are great! They have a beautiful metallic gold and silver wallpaper that looks absolutely stunning! Worth a try in my opinion!
🦋Q&A
- what type of wallpaper is best for walls?
* stick and peel for sure because it doesn’t mess up your walls on removal.
- is wallpaper cheaper than paint?
* it depends on how much wall your covering but in the long run if you’re renting an apt or house it would be cheaper because it easier to remove
- is wallpaper better than paint?
* everyone’s opinion is different but I personally like paint over wallpaper
I highly recommend this butterfly wallpaper for a small diy project or accent wall! It’s absolutely beautiful and easy to apply!
