It’s brush-cleaning day! It is recommended to clean your makeup brushes once a month if wearing makeup regularly. I get clogged pores very easily so I like to wash them every 2-3 weeks.
My holy grail brush cleaner is the Cinema Secrets Makeup Brush Cleaner. I bought this big bottle in 2019 and I’m just over halfway done with it. I linked the bundle that I originally bought before deciding to buy the value size.
Pros
👍Helps prevent bacteria and germs
👍 Quick dry & instantly cleans brushes
👍 Extends brush life, no water or rinsing required
👍 Prevents Acne
Cons
⚠️There is a strong but bearable scent!
⚠️It has flammable ingredients, so keep in a cool and safe location.
Steps:
(from official Cinema Secrets Website)
Pour It - Pour CS Makeup Brush Cleaner into Cleansing Tin and fill the tin up enough to dip 1/4 of the way up the brush bristles.
Dip It - Dip the tip of the brush into the liquid and remove immediately to avoid over saturation. The bristles will draw liquid up into the brush and dissolve away makeup. For large, fluffy, or dense brushes, only dip 10% of the brush tip and hold vertically for 5 seconds so liquid moves down into the base.
Wipe It - Wipe the brush clean on an absorbent paper towel or cloth, and repeat as necessary. Reshape the brush and allow to air dry completely before use.
