The natural skin brightener contained in this serum is a substance called Alpha Arbutin, which is derived from the bearberry plant. Alpha Arbutin helps brighten your skin by preventing the formation of melanin on your skin surface while also fighting to eliminate your existing dark spots and scars.
This serum has the most interesting color! It is a very bright orange, tangerine-like color. This color is derived naturally from the blends of turmeric(golden yellow), astaxanthin (red), and bearberry (red). If you are worrying whether it will stain your skin a tone of orange, not to fear as this coloring does not stain your skin.
I love the scent of this serum, it smells very summery. It reminds me of the cool sea breeze scent when you are standing at the shoreline.
