BEST Vegan/High Protein/Sweet Potato Pasta | Veggiecraft Farms Pasta 🍝

I am a chef and cooking is not only my job but my passion as well. I love to try new foods, especially if they are healthy.
Pasta is food many of us love, but we usually shy away from it because it is unhealthy.
Recently I discovered new pasta that is not only healthier but also delicious.
Let me introduce you to my new favorite pasta:
🍝VEGGIECRAFT FARMS Sweet Potato Penne Pasta

🍝This pasta has a lot more protein (23g) than your average pasta (13g)
🍝Dietary fiber - 7g while average pasta has only 3g
🍝When it comes to carbs this pasta has 56g while your average pasta has 71g
For me the important thing is not only for my food to be healthy but delicious too and this pasta is amazing. It has a bit of a nutty and sweet flavor which I love.
🍝The texture is a bit harder than your average pasta so you don’t have to worry about overcooking it
🍠The color is light orange because it is made out of sweet potatoes, lentil and pea flour.
🌱This pasta is vegan, gluten-free and non GMO
♻️Comes in a recyclable cardboard box
🍝This pasta is very easy to prepare
Bring 4-6 quarts of water to a boil. Add 1tbsp of salt and pasta. Cook for 7-8 min. I cooked mine for 7. Rinse, drain and serve.
On the box there is a suggested recipe but you don’t have to use it, you can simply use one of your favorite store bought pasta sauces.

You will need:
🍅5 Roma tomatoes
🧄1 tsp minced garlic
🧅1 medium sized white onion
🧂1/2 tsp salt
🧂1/2 tsp ground black pepper
🫒1 tbsp olive oil
🌿1 tbsp chopped basil
🌿A pinch of dry oregano
-Place tomatoes in a pot with water. Cook for few minutes then quickly place hot tomatoes in a bowl with ice-cold water. This process is called blanching and will help you easily peel off tomato skin. After that, mash the tomatoes and set a side
-Finely shop the onion. Place it in a pot with some garlic and olive oil. Sauté everything until golden
-Add mashed tomatoes to the mixture of onion and garlic
-Add salt, pepper, parsley and oregano
-Cook for few minutes
-Pour the sauce over the pasta
✅VEGGIECRAFT FARMS Sweet Potato Penne Pasta became my new favorite healthy pasta. It has a lot more protein (23g) while having a lot less carbs (56g) than the traditional pasta (71g). It is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and non GMO. Very easy to prepare and absolutely delicious!
