And as an owner of a bernese mountain dog, I can definitely say that itโs not the most thrilling thing in the world. Berners have so much fur that you can literally brush them for days, until your arms went numb, and they would still be shedding. ๐๐ฌ

Hereโs what I love about this brush?
- ๐ Makes grooming fun for both me and my dog: First of all, let me just say that my berner Rita isnโt a huge fan of grooming. So Iโm always happy when I find a brush that she doesnโt run away from. ๐ I was very surprised that she enjoyed this brush. The thick metal bristles glide very easily through her fur and I think they give her a nice scratching sensation so thatโs why she enjoys it so much.
- ๐ PERFECT for shedding season: The hype is definitely real because I can confirm that this is THE kind of brush you need when your dog is shedding. The bristles are placed next to one another very tightly so they easily collect large portions of shedding fur in one stroke. It makes grooming during shedding season a whole lot easier, faster and more efficient. ๐๐ผ
- ๐ Easy to clean- Another thing I loved about this brush is that you can easily clean all the collected fur by simply pressing the button and wiping it away. Again, it makes the whole process so much quicker and more convenient as my dog has A LOT of fur. ๐
๐ Cons?
- I donโt think this brush is very suitable for dogs with shorter fur because the bristles are pretty sharp. Itโs something to have in mind when purchasing.
- I also think that the bristles are a little thin and would easily break if the fur was more challenging to comb (ex. matted fur with lots of knots and tangles). So thatโs also good to have in mind.
Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase as it really made brushing during shedding season a lot quicker and more efficient. If you have a dog with longer fur, I definitely recommend it.
