When you join and become a Charmer, you are asked to complete a Beauty Quiz. Your answers on this quiz guide what goes into your box. So, since everyone does not have the same Beauty Quiz answers, nor are they in the same BoxyCharm subscription, they do not get the same box contents.
The Base subscription is now at $27.99 a month. You receive 5 full-size beauty products plus 1 product of your choice in your monthly box, valued at $175. 📦🌷
The Premium subscription is now at $39.99 a month. You receive 6 full-size products plus 2 products of your choice in your monthly box, valued at $250. 📦🌹
Do you get two boxes with BoxyCharm Premium?
You get only 1 box with Premium. However, a Premium subscription lets you choose 2 full-size beauty products you love for the upcoming month. These 2 choice products are then put into your Premium box, along with 6 regular Premium products valued at $250.
You can subscribe to both Base and Premium subscription boxes, though, using the same account. So you get 2 boxes each month: the Base and BoxyCharm Premium boxes with different products. 🌷🌹✨
How much is BoxyCharm Luxe a month?
For $59.99 a month, you receive a BoxyCharm Luxe box worth $395 💎, containing 8 full-size beauty and lifestyle items every 3 months, You also get to choose 2 items to put into your Luxe box.
Is upgrading to BoxyLuxe worth it?
If you are a makeup enthusiast, or you use makeup extensively for your work as a makeup artist, for example, receiving $395 worth of 8 full-size beauty and lifestyle products every 3 months while paying only $59.99 a month (or $180 every 3 months) is definitely worth it!
Why did BoxyCharm prices go up?
Like many companies all over the world who depend on the logistics and supply chain for delivering their products to their customers, BoxyCharm was affected by the increased material sourcing, labor, and shipping costs brought on by the 2020 pandemic.
So, starting January 2022, it increased its Base box subscription by $2.99 from $25 to $27.99. Premium box subscription increased earlier on November 1, 2021, by $4.99, from $35 to $39.99. Luxe box subscription increased on December 1, 2021, by $10, from $49.99 to $59.99 every quarter.
Does IPSY own BoxyCharm?
Yes. Ipsy acquired BoxyCharm in October 2020, forming Beauty for All (BFA) Industries. Like the Ipsy and BoxyCharm business models, BFA uses product reviews and other information from customers to create personalized algorithms for all its beauty box subscribers and guides the company on what beauty products to launch each month.
Ipsy is the world's largest beauty sampling service, while BoxyCharm is the world's largest full-size beauty product subscription. BFA builds on both Ipsy's and BoxyCharm's strengths and further offers personal care clean essentials through its new brand, Refreshments. Under BFA, both Ipsy and BoxyCharm continue to operate as independent brands. 🏢
