If you're a fan of Anthropologie, you know exactly what I'm talking about. They sell some of the best-smelling candles on the market. If you're a candle connoisseur, Anthropologie could be the right place for you.
Keep reading to find out if an Anthropologie candle could be your new holy grail for candle shopping🏆.
✨Anthropologie Candle Collection⭐
💫Apothecary 18 is the Anthropologie in-house candle collection.
❣️Product fast facts:
📐Variety of sizing options
💵Affordable price point
🔥Good burn time
True to Anthropologie fashion, the candles are beautifully displayed so they become a piece of decor.
The four signature scents are offered in three different sizes:
❤️ Tin Jar Candle - $24.00
💙 Small Jar Candle - $36.00
💚 Large Jar Candle - $78.00
The tin jar is 10.5 ounces and burns for 35 hours, while the large jar candle is 14.5 ounces and has a 93-hour burn time.
My personal favorite out of this collection is the Lavendar Balsam💜. I love the way the scent fills the room and I burn it all year round.
The only con to this candle is that some reviews claimed that it barely had a scent to it when burning. If you're looking to fill a larger room with a stronger scent, this might not be the best option for you.
🔖Signature Anthropologie Candle🕯️
Walking into Anthropologie, you're hit with a welcoming scent that draws you in. A scent that's so iconic it's become the Anthropologie signature scent.
But what is it?
💙 Volcano, by Capri Blue, is the most ✨iconic✨ candle sold at Anthropologie. It's a universal scent with a blend of citrus 🍋 and sugar notes.
If it's not your favorite scent don't worry, Anthropologie has quite a few Capri Blue scents to choose from, and they're some of the best Anthropologie candles.
💙Capri Blue Anthropologie
Anthropologie has exclusively crafted jars for the Capri Blue line to fit any home aesthetic.
❤️What I love about it:
💜Variety of sizing options
🧡Signature Anthropologie scent
💚Exclusive decorative jars
💙Long burn times
The most diversely packaged candle is the 19-ounce candle that retails at $36.00. It's a soy wax blend with a 70-hour burn time🔥.
The next size available is significantly smaller at 8 ounces. It's a tin candle with a 38-hour burn time, retailed at $22.00. This is a great size for someone who isn't ready to commit to the scent yet.
The smallest Capri Blue size is the mini jar candle. It has a 25-hour burn time and it's only 5 ounces. The mini jar comes in a few different colors to cater to your personal decor space.
The exclusive jars can only be found at Anthropologie online and in-store. However, if you're not looking for exclusive containers, you can find Capri Blue candles at Sephora, Dillards, Capri Blue's website, Nordstrom, etc 🛍.
If you're someone who likes to recycle, the jars can be repurposed and incorporated into decor giving it a huge plus in my book. I like the price point of these candles as well. They're a very affordable luxury candle compared to others on the market.
I think the iconic blue jars don't work in everyone's design aesthetic, so I appreciate the collaboration and unique jars Anthropologie creates.
You're able to choose from a variety of jars that become their own statement piece. They're great for bookshelves, kitchen displays, or coffee table pieces.
I think the biggest con behind these is how popular they are. I happen to enjoy the popular volcano scent, and I burn it frequently, but it is everywhere. If you're looking for your own signature scent, this might not be the best candle for you.
⚖️Let us now compare Anthropologie candles vs other candles in the market🧐
💛Ani & Co.
Ani & Co. offers luxury coconut wax candles crafted in Brooklyn, NY 🏙.
One size jar
Easy to layer scents
Long burn time
A limited number of scents
Their scents are simple and they offer one size, 8 ounces.
These 8-ounce candles can hold their own with an estimated 70-hour burn time. They retail for $30.00 a piece on their website.
If you're looking for a more affordable long-lasting candle, then Ani & Co. scents could be right for you. I like the simple scents because you can have multiple candles burning without muddling the scents.
The jars are a nice burnt amber color which is a good neutral for any home. They also come in glass jars, making them ideal for repurposing jars after your candle burns out.
However, they're limited to nine different scents. With such a limited range it can be difficult to find a scent that really fits you. I also don't love that they only come in 8 ounces.
I think you can find other candles that give you a wider range of scents at a higher volume for the same price point.
Lafco candles are beautifully designed and come in a wide variety of scents.
Different sizing options
Good burn times
Available in different stores
A good variety of scents
Each scent comes in its uniquely colored glass jar. They also offer a range of sizing options.
4 ounce - 💰 $20.00
6.5 ounce - 💰 $46.00
15.5 ounce - 💰 $70.00
30 ounce - 💰 $105.00
These candles have a burning time that ranges from 20 hours to 120 hours, respectively. You can find these candles for sale on their website and in department stores like Macy's and Neiman Marcus 🛍.
Each candle is placed into a hand blown glass container creating a simple and sophisticated look. They're able to blend in with the decor and have a concentrated fragrance, making them ideal for larger spaces.
I also really like how many scents and sizing options are available for purchase. I think having different options caters to different spaces and settings. A variety of scents makes them more inclusive for every preference.
I love the look of these candles and their unique scents, but I wish they came with a lid. I find that lidded candles help keep dust or debris from getting inside the candle when they are not in use.
I also find them to be very expensive candles. The 4-ounce candle allows you to test out scents, but for $20.00 I can't justify it. I think there are more affordable and longer-lasting candles for the ounce size on the market.
Le Labo Candles is another luxury candle brand that follows a more simplistic route. They offer,
Limited variety of scents
Expensive price tag
They are available in 11 different signature scents. They retail at $82.00 for 8.6 ounces 💸.
Similar to the Anthropologie candles, they come in glass containers that you can personalize with your name. Each candle is crafted with a custom blend of waxes.
I think that the personalization of each jar is a unique touch. The unique scents can make them a really cool signature scent.
However, these are highly expensive candles for 8.6 ounces. They do not include an estimated burn time, so it's hard to tell how long they'd last.
They are only listed for retail on Le Labo's website and do not include any reviews from past customers. With only one size available and limited scents, I think that it's hard to choose a candle to burn in my home.
🤩Time for the FAQs💖

As someone who frequently burns candles, I absolutely 💖 the Anthropologie candle section. I don't think you can beat the price point and the selection they offer.
I've burned multiple candles from the Apothecary 18 and Capri Blue brands and I think they filled up the room without being overpowering. I found that both of the brands lasted quite a while and the burn times were accurate.
If you're not sure about a scent, they're available in smaller sizes that can help you figure out which scents work best for you without breaking the bank. I will definitely be going back to Anthropologie to pick up more candles in the future.
