Knix Bras: Are They Comfortable? Here’s What I Really Think About It
Isn’t it just the best feeling when you get home after a long day and you get to take off your bra? It feels so freeing!😌
In fact, many of you may agree with this data I found: In a survey of 3000 women, 46 percent of them said that they have the same relationship with their bra as they do with an annoying coworker--they put up with it.😭I know, right?!
Since I really can’t stand bras, I’ve been on the lookout for more comfortable pairs.🧐🔍
One bra I've been considering using are the wireless bras by Knix.
I'm an A-cup girly and, at times, can get away without wearing a bra, but I do need one occasionally.
Because I had heard that Knix brand Bras were extremely comfortable, I decided to give them a try.
Are you on the lookout for bras that would make wearing them more bearable and comfortable?

Product Fast Facts
Here’s an overview of everything you need to know about Knix brand bras before I put my judgement on it.

It’s time to live unapologetically!😍
Knix markets their garments as something that would you make you feel comfortable of your skin.
They sell bras, super absorbent and comfortable period underwear, underwear, shapewear, sleepwear, activewear, and more.
Knix was created by Joanna Griffiths.👱🏼♀️ Her goal is to transform the underwear market by focusing on functional wear instead of frills.
Every Knix product has the intention of allowing women to feel comfortable in their own skin while still feeling sexy.
About the Product: Micro Modal Rib Bralette 👙
For this review, I tried out Knix’s Micro Modal Rib Bralette.
This bra is a light-support plung v-neck bralette with exposed underband for support, and adjustable straps to customize your fit.
It is made from lightweight and naturally breathable micro modal fabric.
This bra cost 40 dollars on sale, and 48 dollars originally on Knix’s website.
The band sizes on this bra range from 30 to 44. Cup sizes range from A to H.
Key Decision Factors 🏷️
When trying on this bra, I evaluated several factors. Each of these factors helped determine my overall perspective on Knix's bras.
The sizing for these bras is true to size. They do have some extended sizes and maternity sizes as well. This is helpful for people who generally have a difficult time finding bras in their size.
The bra I purchased was 43 dollars on sale. This is a bit pricey for me. However, I know that for many women who wear extended sizes, this is about the norm.
💗How Do Knix Bras Hold Up?
These bras hold up in the wash. I recommend following the manufacturer's directions and letting them line dry so they last longer.
💗Lift, Shape, and Support
The Micro Modal Bralette is intended to provide light support, and it does. I checked out reviews and even women with larger breasts stated that the bra supported them - all the way to g cup. This bra also gave me a little lift which was great.
I found this bra to be pretty comfortable; this is important to note because I find most bras uncomfortable. However, the clips in the back make it a little itchy. It would be nice if there was some fabric between the clips and the skin.
💗Size Range and Cup Size
The size range depends on the style of bra you're purchasing. Most of their bras start at a 28 band, and the highest band size goes to 44. Make sure to double check your band size with a measuring tape for the best fit!
Depending on the bra, the cup size will range from A to H, so my g cup girls (and up) rejoice! This is great for women with larger cup sizes who struggle to find good bras at decent prices. Cup measurement can also be found with a measuring tape, just follow the directions on the size chart.
The Micro Modal Bralette body is made from 93 percent Modal and seven percent spandex. The lining is 90 percent Nylon and ten percent spandex.
Modal is a super absorbent material and breathable. It's often used in activewear for that reason.
Pros and Cons👍🏻👎🏻
What's good and what's not? Let's explore the pros and cons of this bra.
Here are the things I loved about it:
These bras are comfy. That's saying a lot since I don't like bras. But the brand designs for comfort, and they do a good job of achieving that goal.
I was able to get this bra in black, which was a great pro for me. However, they have a range of natural colors, so you can buy them in a color that works for your wardrobe.
There's nothing better than the feeling of soft material against your skin. During that time of the month when some women are prone to tenderness around their breasts, this is even better.
I might be able to skip wearing a bra sometimes, but when I do wear one, I want lift. This bra gave me a lift and helped my silhouette look great.
✔️Wide Size Range
Depending on the bra, Knix’s cup size will range from A to H. This is great for women with larger cup sizes who struggle to find bras.
❌The Clasps in the Back
The biggest con for this bra are the clasps in the back. They feel itchy. However, beyond that, the bra is comfortable.
So how does Knix stack up against the competition? Let's talk about some other popular bra brands and their pros and cons.
1. Victoria's Secret 👙
Victoria's Secret has received some controversy lately after the release of Jax's Victoria's Secret song. However, they're working to respond to the criticisms they're facing and present a new front.
One of the biggest cons for Victoria's Secret is the size range they offer. They go from an XXS to an XXL. Their foray into size for larger women is limited, to say the least. You also won't find maternity options there.
However, depending on the bra you purchase, you can find lower prices there. A bra similar to the Knix bra costs around 35 dollars.
They do tend to have a wide range of colors and materials. I would say that Victoria's Secret is about the same because they do have a better price and more color options. However, they don't offer the same range of sizes which is a significant con.

One of their bralettes even has a clasp-free pullover design to prevent the itch. This brand also offers maternity bras.
Their featured plus-size bras cost a lot more than the options on Knix.
ThirdLove offers over 80 bra sizes from a 30 to 48 band. They do have some extended sizes but not as many as Knix. However, because of their limited sizes, plus-size women might want to stick with Knix.
✨Comparison for a Similar Bra

Form Seamless Chevron Rib Wireless Bra is the closest rib bralette. It’s one of their wireless bras and has a ribbed material, comes in three colors, is priced at $45, and has a size range of XS to 3X.
3. Bare Necessities 👙

Bare Necessities Bralettes that are similar to the Knix Bralette cost about the same, and maybe a little more. These bras are limited in size, going from XS to Large.
They do have options for maternity and plus-size women; however, you will pay a higher price for those bras. Like the other brands, they come in a range of materials, styles, and colors.
✨Style and Color
If you're looking for a lot of options when it comes to style and color, this brand might be one you like. However, if you're looking for extended sizing, Knix seems to have better options when it comes to cost.

|Product||Band Sizes||Cup Sizes||Price for a Similar Bra||Pros||Cons||My Product Review Rating|
|Victoria's Secret||30-44||AA-D|| $68.99||Affordable |
Wide color and material options
|Limited size range||⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐|
|ThirdLove||30-48||AA-I||$45||Wide color range|
|⭐ ⭐ ⭐|
|Bare Necessities||28-58||AA-O|| $35||Maternity and plus-size options||Pricier||⭐ ⭐ ⭐|
|Itchy clasp||⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐|
I would highly recommend Knix for bras. They're comfortable and affordable and give the lift you need throughout the day. The only complaint I have is the itchiness of the clasp on the back.
I wish there was fabric to cover that clasp or that it was a pullover bra instead.
Why Trust Me? 🤔
I hate wearing bras, so it would take a really great bra to change my mind. I purchased this bra and gave it a try before writing this review. In addition, I frequently try and review different products. So, everything I say here is based on my high-standard scrutiny.😉👌
