I often postpone workouts because I get stressed about time, but this ab circut is a perfect little boost during a busy day!
🔥the key is to try and do the full set (or as much as you can) without resting. Make sure that your abs are always tucked to protect your lower back, and your toes are pointed
💥60second warmup - abs tucked, raise shoulders and legs 3-5” off ground and pulse arms
💥25x bicycle legs - pull knee into chest and lower the other leg (but dont let it touch the ground)
*a mod for this is just kick out the other leg instead of lowering it
💥25x straight leg lifts - keeping legs as straight as possible, scissor one leg up while the other lowers to just above the ground
*mod is to reach behind your knee if you cant yet reach your ankle
💥15x bicycle crunch
💥10x curl and release
💥10x leg lifts - hands behind head, legs start together at 90 degrees and lower together, squeezing glutes to raise back up
*mod is lower to 45 degrees and bring legs back to 90 degrees
🖤This ab routine was part of a warmup that i was taught to do in a pole class ! I had to buid up my stamina to be able to push all the way through without resting, and the first day I could do it all through felt so great. The best part about this workout for me is that it goes by SO fast (even though its quite a challenge). totally worth it.
