90s style has really been inspiring me lately. Whether it was Gwyneth Paltrow‘s Makeup, or Jennifer Aniston‘s perfectly messy claw clip hairstyles, I’m definitely a fan. My favorite has to be the Naomi Campbell inspired lip hack. I digress, let me break down step-by-step the 3 hacks!
1. Tightline Eyeliner.
This creates a very defined eye shape, and is a method of going into your upper and lower lash lines with your eyeliner. I specifically like to focus on the lower lash line, as that is the most important.
2. Claw clips.
Those of you who saw my recent video, know I’m a little bit obsessed with these. I love how versatile they are, how they really let your makeup stand out, and keep your hair out of your face for the day. Plus, even if the hairstyles are slightly messy, they end up looking super sophisticated.
3. Darker Lip Liner.
For this hack, you’re going to want to choose a lip liner that is quite significantly darker than your lipstick. It gives a similar effect to the tight light eyeliner, but the idea is you really want the shape of your lips to stand out. I like to choose a lip liner that’s at least, if not more, two shades darker than the lipstick I used.
