In honor of International Womenās Day today I wanted to share some favorite mommy and me photos my daughter and Iāve done:
boHo chic ā all of our pieces are from the photographers client closet but we chose to go with lots of whites and neutrals for a bright and airy look. Her studio is full of natural sunlight and the neutral colors complement each other so well.
Holiday ā these photos were taken with our holiday photos but the photographer didnāt want Christmasy she wanted more winter wonderland. We decided to go with neutrals again because of the warm tones she used to edit and they just go so well together. My dress was white, my daughters was a peachy cream, and my son actually wore a cream sweater with khaki pants.
Outdoorā These were taken for my daughters first birthday pics in December⦠It was cold so we wanted to dress warm but cute. I decided to go with an emerald sweater because I loved how this color popped and I thought it went beautifully with her mustard yellow pea coat.
These were all taken by photographers and i donāt regret a single session. I have a nice camera and have THOUSANDS of photos of my kids, but honestly a professional is going to capture you and them so amazing and itās worth every penny.
Finding colors that look good together is your main goal! You donāt all have to wear a white tee and jeans to match... in my opinion coordinating colors look better in photos.
Not all the best pictures are when the whole family is looking at the camera⦠Some of my favorite photos are what happens when you least expect. Like looking at each other and laughing, and not the fake laughing because you can see the joy Leap off the photo.
Lastly, I wasnāt āhappy with my mom bodā in any of these pica. Donāt wait til you lose 10 pounds to book a session. Do it now, babies donāt keep. They grow up so fast and you donāt get those years back. ā„ļø
